Skip to main contentSkip to footerWe specialise in work related wrist and hand injuries.
- The Wrist Hand Institute specialises in the treatment of work related injuries, or what’s known as workers’ compensation cases. Workers’ compensation is an insurance claim whereby employees who have been injured at work, or become sick due to their work, receive complimentary medical treatments and wage replacement payments whilst they cannot work.
- Our surgeons form a multidisciplinary team specialising in the treatment of upper limb injuries and conditions. They are trained in orthopaedics, plastics, vascular, endoscopic, arthroscopic and microsurgery.
- To ensure the best possible outcome, we offer a complete injury management solution including initial assessments, operative and non-operative treatment, occupational therapy management, return to work planning, final impairment assessment (AMS5 and AMS6), case conferences and medico-legal reports.
- We pride ourselves in providing objective services to employees, employers and insurers alike.
A referral is required
- Workers’ compensation patients require a referral from their GP, occupational physician, employer, occupational health officer and/or insurance company.
